Wow what a week! The Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival has been full of fun, friends and freezing cold days! Despite the dark clouds and rain, I have had a fabulous time and made more of a fashion effort this year. Oaks day is ladies day, very feminine, flowy, pinks, nudes and just all round girlie. My Aqua white outfit was worn (finally! it was too cold to wear on derby) and my AMAZING Karen Hamilton hat that she so kindly made for me and tailored for this dress was a big hit! Isn’t it just beautiful???
The fashions on the field was great to watch, I didnt enter but Georgie did and made it through to the second round with her fantastic deco style Karen Hamilton hat and the cage dress (as seen in the Fashion Aid II blog post)
One more race day to go and then I can pack my hats away and then start to think about unpacking my Christmas decor!
