Dungaree-doo

For those of you like me who remember them as plain ol’ overalls that you use to doodle flowers on them with your puff fabric paint and cool smiley face badges pinned all over them, they might not exactly be your cup of tea in 2013. I love a challenge, especially a fashion challenge and I just had to get myself a pair and see if I could pull it off. East 17 would be loving me sick right now, all I needed were my doc martins and a snap back to be apart of a 90′s tribute boy band. I think I did all right, what do you think?

Silver Sleek

jess dempseyjess dempseyIMG_4923IMG_4926IMG_4940IMG_4885IMG_4894I am at it again, playing around with the ‘matchy matchy’ look and this time with these silver metallic beauties. I love a little bit of millinery as you know and breaking up these two fabulous silver pieces with a hint of black seems to make this outfit work. Would you believe that this entire look is all Australian brands? Not a hint of ASOS in sight! Go me! (but don’t get used to it, you know I am a sucker for ASOS)

I have some amazing opportunities coming up in the next few weeks, I can’t wait to share them with you but in the meantime, check out my latest feature in The Age.

Thrill of the fight

jd_april_08kenzo tigerjd_april_05jd_april_06jd_april_07jd_april_12Yes, I have two Kenzo sweaters, but just like an M&M, you can’t stop at one! Look, it doesn’t have to be Kenzo, but if you get yourself a sweater for next season there is so much you can do with it. Choose one that has details, embroidery and lots of colours in it, this will help with styling it into many looks. Wear it as is, throw it over your shoulders Hamptons style and let the graphic pop from behind, tie it around your waist (this is cool now) again, this will add colour and layering into your look.

Who needs accessories when you can just pull a piece from your wardrobe in a different colour to add pop to your look!

Sweaters: Kenzo (similar here), Pants: Zara (similar here), Chanel Sneakers and Chanel wallet bag.
