A week or so ago, I received a package from my friends at Glassons and when I opened it, I let out an ‘OMG!’ to myself. It was my very own custom WWKD Tshirt! I love how they added a little bit of personality to it with the lips and palm tree details, I am very spoilt. There is nothing I love better than a t-shirt, shorts and comfy shoes to get around in during my casual days running around doing ‘stuff’.
Huge apologies for my absence in the last couple of days, I was whisked up to Sydney where I stayed at the amazing QT Sydney, spent the day with the team from Boohoo.com (yet to be revealed) and then attended an exclusive (and oh-so-fabulous) Boohoo dinner. I really missed my little man whilst on this trip, perhaps it’s because he chipped his front tooth or just because he is learning new things every day and I don’t like to miss a second! Either way, it’s been a really good week for me and right now, it feels like heaven lying on my couch in my ugg boots watching nothing in particular on TV and blogging away.
Just a little note on this look, it’s kind of tough with a feminine edge. The leather look quilted skirt and heavy black ankle boots is softened by this delicate and sheer top and sparkly jumper! Ha! Feminine with an edge, the perfect way to describe my style!
Camilla and Marc camp print takes to Paris. When I saw these pieces in the lookbook, I knew I had to wear it in its entirety. I find it humorous that I only got the odd strange stare whilst wearing this kit here in Paris whereas if it were Melbourne, I could imagine people doing the ‘coo coo’ finger spin beside their temple at me. Funny that! Could Paris be my safe place to express my fashion? I would say hell yes!
Love a little ‘cameo’ appearance by our fav Aussie Candice Lake xo
So since we last left off, nothing has really changed, except… I am going to Paris Fashion Week! Eeeep! It’s in two weeks time and I will be attending three amazing shows, Issey Miyake, Haider Ackermann and Vanessa Bruno. I remember in early 2010 when I quit my job and said in my farewell speech ‘blah, blah, blah and I hope to be sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week’ Well, I might not be front row, but at least half of that was ticked off. So, I am of corse, jumping for joy!
