Why hey friends! Have I mentioned I am totally jealous that I am not at MFW at the moment? Not a day goes by when I don’t think about my trip to Milan back in 2010 and the overloaded suitcases I came home with. If you look at my first couple of posts you can read about my trip.
I am off to Sydney tomorrow to check out the S/S13 ASOS Collection I am super excited to see what amazing pieces they have created. As much as I am an ASOS shopper, I do shop on my-wardrobe.com and I got this Acne skirt recently from there for my Derby Day ensemble! Check it out!
Today I was quoted in the Herald Sun about my tips for winter fashion. To those of you who are loyal followers of my blog you would have known that shearling, fur and lace is in and thanks to my addiction to online shopping from international stores I already have a winter-full wardrobe with lace, capes, shearling, blankets and camels.
Two important things to me are: fashion and helping those in need and the two have been combined for a fantastic cocktail soiree & runway show on the rooftop at Melbourne’s Whitehouse Institute in support of Tracky Dack Day- awareness of kids battling illnesses and injuries in hospital
Expect fashion from Carla Zampatti, Aurelio Costarella, J’Aton, Jenny Bannister, Anthony Capon, Ellery, Rachel Gilbert and LifeWithBird (just to name a few) celebrities, media, and a unique showcase of designs created especially for this one night event hosted by Sarah Gale and styled by Australia’s leading fashion and celebrity stylist, Philip Boon.
I will be there and many of my blogger friends- hope to see you too!
Put your hands up if you just loooovvveee my new booties from asos? FYI Australian fashionistas, fur is back and even better shearling is back. It is time to bring out our old school denim jacket with the lambs wool trip, your leather with wool and Eskimo hat and prepare for our next winter. Even better, you can buy it on line now and put it away til next June. I cant wait to see the trends my favourite international bloggers wear for their winter, I am sure we will see camel, leather, fur and shearling styled outfits.
