Have we replaced the term ‘classic’ with ‘monochrome’? When you think of a ‘classic’ look what do you think of? I think of a black or white outfit, a ‘classic’ hemline below the knee, a hint of CHANEL and a look that will be admired in years to come. This monochrome outfit definitely oozes a sense of classic as I described above, I don’t think you could get it wrong working with these two essential colours, black and white will always make up your wardrobe but the key is knowing what styles and silhouettes suit you and your body shape. I hardly, if ever show my shoulders, I have a complex with them for some unknown reason so I will always opt for a sleeve of some description and only recently, I worked out that a mid length skirt is more flattering for me compared to a mini! Once you sort out your styles, its about finding them in stores to add to your wardrobe then you will know what you grab to wear, will never let you down!

Does anyone else play dress ups in their wardrobe? I have found lately that I am shopping less and am reinventing my existing pieces and mixing them with tops of bottoms that I haven’t worn for a long time. Sometimes I can get a tad carried away but other times, I can create a winning look. Trying on everything in your wardrobe will help you realise what suits you in terms of styles, cuts, colours and by the end of it, you will discover some gems and some not so good purchases and this will make it easier when shopping the next time!

So anyways, what was I saying??? oh yeah my blog… well its new and improved and so two thousand and twelve! (thanks to Juncture Creative) Just a little face lift over the holidays for the ol’ blog and here we are with my first outfit post for 2012. Apologies for the MIA but I really wanted to drop the excess baggage (aka 7.6lb baby plus) before slipping into something a little uncomfortable- because as you know fashion aint about comfort!
So lets get into it! I am back and I am back for good (well… until husby and I decide to have another little poppet or two but that is NOT any time soon my friends) The majority of my pieces you will be seeing in coming posts are garments I purchased during pregnancy because I would not fathom the idea of missing out on any pieces just because I couldn’t squeeze my muffin top in it at the time. Each piece sat comfortably in my second wardrobe inspiring me to say no to chocolate!
I have a few AH-mazing giveaways coming shortly so stay tuned! Don’t you just love free fashion??? All hand picked by me- your own personal stylist! Anyways, enough chit chat and onto the fashion.
Go, be inspired and be fashion confident! xxx
