When I shoot an outfit post in Melbourne, I am always trying to find ‘cool’ locations and backdrops but in Paris, you could shoot anywhere and it would be fab. What gets me every time with Paris is not just the fashion, but the architectural history. Here, I am at Place Vendôme(French pronunciation: ?[plas v??dom]) is a square in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France, located to the north of theTuileries Gardens and east of the Église de la Madeleine. It is the starting point of the Rue de la Paix. Its regular architecture by Jules Hardouin-Mansart and pedimented screens canted across the corners give the rectangular Place Vendôme the aspect of an octagon. The original Vendôme Column at the center of the square was erected by Napoleon I to commemorate the battle of Austerlitz; it was torn down on 16 May 1871, by decree of the Paris Commune, but subsequently re-erected and remains a prominent feature on the square today. Thanks Wikipedia
Many fashion shows were held in the buildings here, one being the Haider Ackermann one I was backstage at.
Whilst I sit here multitasking, aka: blogging and watching The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, I realised that these are my favourite jeans. No, not the daggy travelling pants from the movie, these acid wash Jamie Jeans from Topshop. I suppose it is because I bought them in Europe on the trip I took that inspired me to start my blog or perhaps that they have traveled with me from starting the blog, being pregnant and back again.

I’m feeling a little geometric, black and white with a hint of neon yellow. Basically this outfit started with the DVF bag and worked back with a visual black and white clash. Me loves, me wants x
Amongst the Spring Racing Carnival hype, I thought I needed to post a calm and soft outfit image and these images are the perfect reflection of just that. Shot on my bathroom windowsill in the most beautiful light.
