Super Slick

Well it is December and my Christmas tree is up! This year I have chosen a gold and silver theme!

It is the season of parties and events which means party dresses, heels and over the top statement jewellery! What will you be wearing to your Christmas event? Try something a little different this year, maybe a play suit (long or short) with killer heels, cuffs up your arms and power lips! or block colour maxi dress with super long layered necklaces and statement hair.

This hair look is so sleek, sexy and sophisticated and compliments any power shoulder outfit- try it!

Spanish Romantic

It is a stunning Sunday afternoon here in Melbourne and by the pool side we (my sister in law’s and I) are starting to plan our trip to London and Spain S/S2011. Having a wedding to attend in Spain can be quite handy and as I am sure you have figured out by now I LOVE TO TRAVEL!

This look I thought was kind of Spanish, matador yet with a Gothic/Romantic twist. Not to mention how much support I have in Spain! I found this link the other day from Vogue ES.

Oh and some more international sites I found myself on from Dubai and my fav photographer atm (you may know from Harpers Bazaar) Benjamin Kanarek’s Blog. I find it interesting how far behind Australia can be when it comes to blogs… just a thought…

These YSL pieces I picked up at an outlet in Milan and for those international readers- make sure you check out Aurelio Costarella, one of my favourite Aussie designers- I am wearing a vest he made in these shots.

Oh and one last thing… stay tuned for my Christmas Giveaway!

Thanks to my new followers, I appreciate your support xxxx

Shiny Disco Ball

Remember when I told you I had some fabulous purchases that I just HAD to share with you? Well this post is the beginning of some of my little beauties I picked up in the past weeks.

It is time for Australian’s to get a dose of confident fashion, dare to mix prints, throw on a statement piece (or two) go with your gut feelings when it comes to fashion, if you are confident in what you are wearing you will look confident to others.

My outfit was inspired by my A-MA-ZING fashion idol Anna Dello Russo, oh and of course Karl Lagerfeld, whom (might I add) this outfit has nothing over compared to the way they style themselves.

Skirt: Rare Opulence (which I will be wearing to our Fashion Week!) Jacket: ASOS, Necklace: Yamila Guedez (You can buy her items on my blog here) Shoes & Gloves:ASOS
