Sometimes.. sometimesyou can be sooo lucky and find an amazing vintage designer piece. Four years ago, whilst on a merchandising trip to Sydney, I discovered a vintage store off Oxford St and saw this adorable skirt in the window. At the time I just liked the look of it, what a statement! and as I tried it on I discovered it was Issey Miyake!! ahhh!!! I love that! I have had many wear out of it and have lots more to come.
My necklace is vintage Chanel, I picked it up in a vintage store Gabrielle Gebbert, on my last trip to Paris. I am thinking it was late 1980’s (during Karl’s first 10 years at least), ok.. it is actually a belt but I prefer it as a necklace!!
The shoes are old school Marc Jacobs and my top (you may remember from a shoot I did) is from a local boutique Bue.
This is a very romantic look I think. The look could have gone all wrong and I could have looked like a clown with the frill neck and bright colours of the skirt, but I tried to tone it down a notch 🙂 🙂
