Whenever I see a couple, strolling down the street, hand in hand with not a care in the world I immediately think two things:
1.  They don’t have children.
2. They don’t know how good they have it!
I bet they even go to the movies, like, every Friday night after a romantic dinner! (look at me saying ‘like’ as though I am, like, a cool mum and all).
Being a parent changes your life in an instant (or one push for some) you give up a lot,  you learn to put yourself second and you become a professional multitasker. For me, I found it very difficult to learn the ‘balance’ (aka, work/family life) and it took me some time to realise, to achieve the balance you must call in and ask for help. I have two interns, a cleaner, a babysitter on call and great family support, all this only came a few months ago when I asked for it, before then, I was a mess. Being a working mum is hard, it gives you great drive to be successful but also makes you a little sad at times to not spend every micro second with your little ones. Lucky for me, I work from home, but I tend to get less done having a home office and having the kids run in and out asking for milk, food, toilet or whatever it is and having to keep my eye on a crawling child, is just a whole other ball park, agh! and I say I want more children!

The next editorial series is called Luxe Mum, I hope you enjoy this fun series with my little boys and a hint into my world.
