Layered

IMG_5021IMG_5028IMG_5041 IMG_5044 IMG_5045 IMG_5046Layers, I haven’t really played around with layering as much as I should have. Layers can give your look the pop of colour it needs, length to you hemline or just to make you a little warmer.  Speaking of keeping warm, it is freezing here in Melbourne at the moment, my EMU Uggs are getting a work out already and it’s only autumn!

On another note, I will be co-hosting the ‘Winter Edit’ runway at the DAVID JONES Girls Night Out event at Bourke Street Mall. Come down and see the hottest winter fashion from our favourite Aussie designers, styled by me! Details here

Support cast

street style IMG_5451 IMG_5458 IMG_5913 IMG_5926 IMG_5932 IMG_5933 IMG_6088 IMG_6082Accessories can make or break an outfit, they could be the key to the success of your look or you could over dose on the bling and look like P-Diddy has just thrown up on you.  I think the perfect accessory styling is by either using a statement piece (a necklace, headpiece or a wow bag) as the hero of your look OR use your jewellery as the support cast to your outfit but layering a few bangles and rings in similar colours that work with your styling.

As I was blogging for Dark Horse Jewellery, I thought I would sneak in a blog post with some of my favourite detail snaps from MBFWA. Let me know your favs!

Textured bed hair accompanied a distinct strong eye and lush soft lip from the beauty side of things and on the runway, an eclectic mix of colours, fabrics, hemlines and structure too stage.

My highlights were the AG velvet suit (last look) and the Bassike mono dress.
