Boy, time flies when you are having fun! When I say fun, I mean feeding and basically keeping two humans alive, keeping the bigger snotty one away from the tiny fresh little one, doing a photo shoot, putting away the clothes from that shoot, cooking dinner, cleaning the house and showering! Phew! I had all intentions to get this outfit post up on Wednesday night but it just didn’t happen, sorry about the absence.
As I type this with my left hand and top up the bambino with formula with my right hand, I am very thankful that I literally have the best of both worlds in my hands. Gosh, I love being a mum and love sharing my evolving fashion journey with you. Who would have thought that when I started this blog in early 2010 that I would still be blogging and also blogging as a mum of two, without the blog turning into a mummy blog. Like I mentioned in the last post, I will do a personal post next week about my last 6 weeks, some pics of the kids and how I went on the day of Will’s birth. I think it would be nice to see something personal to break up the usual outfit posts don’t you think?
Meanwhile, I love this look if I do say so myself, it is about clever dressing for me at the moment. Black hides everything and a hint of colour strategically placed to distract the eye from the post baby tum tum is the best trick in the book! I remember I wore Topshop in my first posts back after having Aston back in 2011 (SEE HERE), such a good go-to brand and these jeans may be a size bigger than I usually wear as I am yet to squeeze back into my old jeans but I feel amazing in these, defiantly going to be my fav to get me through the next few months.
