Allow me to be real for just a moment. I am tired. There, I said it! I am tired and my back is sore and my house is a mess! Don’t get me wrong, I chose not to have a break from work since having Will and I am so lucky he is such a good bub and I absolutely love all the stuff I have been up to that is keeping me busy, I am just having one of those weeks. You know those weeks? I suppose I just wanted you guys to know that beyond the ‘glamorous’ photoshoots, the events, the happy snaps I take on instagram and the fact I am lucky that this time I didn’t pile on 25kgs during pregnancy, my house does stink like baby poo, my hair hasn’t been washed for a week (love me some good dry shampoo) and you know what? anxiety gets the best of me sometimes, especially over the health of myself and the kids. Lets just say I have a butt indent in the seat at medicare. I think I just wanted to share this to make sure you know that I am real. You see me on a photo, you read my words but you don’t see me move or speak. Being a busy (I say busy cos I don’t think people see blogging as work- but it is I tells you!) mum is tough work, amazing work, the best ‘job’ in the world and I am just having one of those weeks that catch up on you and thought you might like to know it because you could relate, or not, but I just told you, so there!
I have some ridiculously amazing stuff to announce coming up, I am so lucky (no, its not Paris fashion week although if anyone is offering??) the races are upon us which is my favourite time of the year and then before we know it, I will be on actual holidays in Noosa (my second favourite place in the world to Paree)
PS- this skirt is so cray cray it had to be worn by me!

So refreshing to read such an honest account Jess. I know how you feel! Keep doing what you’re doing. You are gorgeous!
Ah love. We are leading parallel lives. So busy, toddler, newborn, blogging. It’s insane. Take the good with the bad, breathe , vent and poor yourself a glass of bubbles xx
Thanks for keeping it real, we do indeed all have those weeks! I’ve got a non-stop-on-the-go 1 year old, add in working full time, and my blog. Not much time left for me in the mix :/

it’s fun but it’s work and sometimes it’s hard to balance so many things at once
more than one of us can relate and it’s greatly appreciated for you to share

I hope all is well
