Last week I attended the RAOULstore in Melbourne’s Crown Casino (Australia’s only RAOUL store ) to view the A/W2011 collection. Inspired by the Movies, this whimsical yet strong collection was a breath of fresh air when it comes to a winter story. Pastel prints and bold block coloured garments bring life into an otherwise Melbourne black and grey wintry canvas. Dropped hemlines with belt accents bring classic elegance with an essence of fashion today.
As you know I love Singapore and if you didn’t already know, RAOUL is a Singapore label. When I was sifting through the collection drooling over key pieces such as the capes, cut out heels and gold bling handbags I was overly excited when I looked at the price tag. Yes, the store and it’s garments look very exy, but do yourself a favour and read the price- it is very affordable without limiting on quality, in fact you will be blown away that you can pick up an amazing cashmere , leather or silk piece for a fabulous price. Now that is what I call fashion!
