So its me in a bikini at 25 weeks pregnant, something I thought I would never do but here I am, half nude on the blog for you. It is no secret that I have been enjoying my pool this summer (due to the instagram snaps I post) and I thought it would be cute to do a little personal post which includes my mini me. I must tell you, it isn’t easy finding swimwear that works with a pregnant body without it being a maternity swim piece which I refuse to wear by the way. I went to Swimwear Galore in Malvern, a mega swimwear store that stocks brands such as Zimmerman, Seafolly, Tigerlily and Isola by Megan Gale just to name a few. I spent ages in the fitting rooms trying on way too many bikinis and all in a size 10, a size up from my usual size which saved me from the maternity options. Luckily I downloaded Blue’s Clues on my phone to keep Aston occupied whilst I was stripping in and out of all the bikinis! As soon as I saw the Seafolly ones I am wearing, I knew they were the ones I wanted. I remember seeing them on a poster at the airport and every time I walked passed I wanted to run into the store to see if they had them but there is no time to stop when you are in the cattle crush in the airport. I did, as I said, try on lots of options- cos you have to- but, just like a wedding dress, its always the first one you try on that you love. Aston walked away (an hour and 3 episodes of Blues Clues Later) with this cute little Rashie and water bucket hat, which brings us to this sunny day of shooting and I just so happened to have my photographer on stand by! haha! I wish someone told me to fix my bikini top under my boob, just another part of my body I can’t see anymore!

When I saw this bikini on the poster in my local Seafolly I knew it was the one for me too! I have a different style of top to you, but I absolutely love the pattern and it’s the first bikini I’ve felt comfortable in in a long time! Also, you look bangin’! xx
thanks Emma! xx
Bravo, I wore bikinis during all three of my pregnancies and I loved spending time in water, the weightlessness was a joy. You look absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks Kristy! how good is the water!!!
