Last week I finished off my Christmas shopping, yep, you heard me its all done! You might have seen on twitter that I was spotted by a certain jouro whilst shopping at the new Spencer Outlet Centre in Melbourne’s CBD (next door to Southern Cross Station). I am not your usual outlet shopper but this year I am trying to save as much money as possible due to the pending arrival of my next bambino. Thinking I was going to be in and out in half an our, I had Aston asleep in the pram and I was all set to get shopping. I started at a mega store called Trade Secret, I think it was the Versace dress on the mannequin with a red sticker on the tag that loured me in. Jumping from rack to rack, I kind of got the gist of this store, you never know what you will find unless you spent ummm 2 hours in it! I was so lucky Aston kept sleeping in his pram or I never would have been able to carry those clothes I piled up on his lap (bad mum!) What I purchased was a great denim shirt and a Mossimo tshirt for the husband, a cute selection of clothes for Aston including Baby Gap and Bonds and some onsies for the new bubba (no photo inserted or the sex would have been given away!)
Next stop and in fact my last stop for the day (yes, I got all my shopping done in two stores) was to the largest Cotton On stores I have even been in. I snatched up the outfit I am wearing in the photos above in two colour ways for both the pants and the tank, some sleep wear for a special friend and some more tops for Aston.
If you do get the chance to head to the city, I absolutely positively recommend a day spent shopping at Spencer Outlet, even if its just to go to Trade Secret where you could pick up an Armani, Prada or Versace dress at the same price (or cheaper) than your fav Aussie designer!

Hi Jess
Ive been following you for a few months now and also on insta and i love the way you put high end and chain store together – its very inspiring. I like high quality but also on budget so I also try and mix things up! ( plus I live in nz where shopping is limited and its hard to be individual!) I travel to melbourne for work about every 12 weeks and spend a day shopping with my biggest splurge a Marc Jacobs bag which I use every day.
Cheers
Emma
