Recently I have had a couple of awesome chickadee’s assist me on my blog shoots for their work experience and this time I thought it would be fun to turn the camera on one of them and include her in my blog post. Meet Mikayla, last weeks assistant during this varsity look gone wrong outfit, mind you, it should be titled varsity gone disco with my puff ball skirt or perhaps varsity gone WWKD! We had Mikayla filming the BTS of this shoot (hope to show you this soon) and my lovely photographer Karen pushed her in to the frame to make this post a little more fun. I have to tell you, this skirt, you wont find anywhere as I have had it for almost four years now but I will never get rid of it, as I evolve, it has evolved with me and it give a little hint of me to this varsity look that you would otherwise opt for a pair of jeans with. That is the essence of WWKD and why I think you enjoy following me, anyone could have styled this look with denim but I think you know this already, so playing around with this and all my other looks helps you see things from a different fashion perspective, whether you actually wear it or just admire it, doesn’t matter its still inspiration. Hmmm, I think I know what I will be wearing to PFW if I go again in September!

That skirt is incredible! 🙂 Such a fun set of photos too 🙂
And yes, your unique ways of pairing things and fun combinations is one of the reasons I read your blog 🙂 You always have such fun with fashion.

I have to agree with you Jess. While our styles are quite different, I do love to see your spin on things. This varsity jacket and glittery puffball disco skirt case in point. Keep doing what you’re doing babe, loving it.
