I have been wanted to share these gorgeous images with you for so long and now I finally can. I was lucky enough to work with Pottery Barn Kids and Heather Nette King (interior stylist) on creating a beautiful nursery for Freddie.

For this photoshoot, Heather brought in some extra elements to finish off Freddies room (for styling purposes) such as the lamp, the rug and gorgeous little pieces from West Elm to bring the room to life. I already had my cot, the chest of drawers, the feeding chair and the side table delivered, it just needed some love to bring it together. The funny thing is, after our photoshoot (Mike Bake photography) I told Heather to leave several of the items so I could purchase them and leave the room as perfect as she made it.

This room is tiny and is perfect for now, for Freddie until we renovate our home (soon) so we made sure that light, simplicity but a warm cosy space was created. The wall colour is WHITE WHALE by Taubmans and before I had the architrave painted a real ‘white white’, it really gave off a blue colour. Once the white was painted it went from super blue to a soft grey blue, I would recommend to maybe do a 1/3 or 1/2 strength next time but it is so perfect now that the room is for a boy.

I just love my cot, it is so classic and has gorgeous detail on the ends. I have also fallen in love with my feeding chair, which can turn into a normal chair when I am ready to change its legs.

Oh, I could go on and on about this little room and I can tell you that I am so glad that I invested my time into it and made is special for me and my little baby boy.

All furniture is from Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm.
