As it turns out, I am blogging about the new Target women’s wear collection and I just so happened to have just got home from the Target Blogger Christmas party! Fancy that!

Tonight was a really good night, despite the 38 Degree heat wave here in Melbourne and the fact I actually couldn’t be bothered leaving my pool, I am so happy that I went. Isn’t it always the case though? You really cannot be bothered going and you think about how comfy you are at home that you just don’t want to leave but you know you have to go and then you end up having the best time! Saying this, it was only the hot weather that made me question going, not the event, I know very well that Target know how to throw a party, they never let me down on the generosity stakes. One time they had a Toy party and I took my kids and there were rides and popcorn and a gift for each child on the way out and Aston still talks about this party to this day.

Tonights party was at the Royal Croquet Club and was a great chance for me to wish some of my favourite people in the industry a Happy Christmas and thank Target for supporting me this year.

This military outfit is from Target, all of it! Well, minus the obvious Chanel necklace, Hermes cuff and Celine sunglasses, but that is what it is all about isn’t it? Mixing your high street, affordable, comfortable fashion with your favourite investment pieces. I get a perk out of telling people that I am wearing Target when they ask me what brand I am wearing. I love seeing their expression on their faces when I say ‘yeah it’s actually Target and they look at me like ‘Oh wow, what am I missing out on?’ Well, my friend, you are missing out on saving a good penny on on-trend fashion and the enjoyment of buying an entire outfit for under $100, something that is un heard of  these days. Not to mention the fact that you will look so chic that you will have people asking you ‘what brand are you wearing?’.
